Cooloola Libraries successfully secured a State Library of Queensland Strategic Development Grant in December 2006. This grant was used to fund Cooloola Then and Now, now known as Gympie Region Then and Now.

Gympie Region Then and Now is an online interactive photographic project that has been undertaken to make our photographic resources more accessible to our clients. It allows for the photographic comparison of the development and changes in our Shire over time.

Gympie Region Then and Now will act as a time capsule for future generations, showcasing photos from our past and present.
